SO it's getting cold pretty quick over here so we decided to squeeze one more camping trip in before they close up the camp sites for the winter. We just so happened to have two days in a row off together so it was the perfect opportunity! We packed up all of our campin gear and headed for the mountains..We wanted to eat some trout that night so we decided to catch our dinner first and set up camp later..which was fine with me :0) While we were fishing there was a little incident and one of our poles ended up breaking :0( BUT we managed to score some pretty big trout with just one pole :0)

Then came time to clean the fish and get it ready to cook..

Then we made a fire..

..and ate some fish :0) We also roasted marshmellows and made some smores..good stuff! When it got freezing and dark we went into our cozy tent and watched some Planet Earth episodes before we hit the hay..thanks mom! :0)

It was freezing at night and the worst is when you wake up at 2am and have to go to the bathroom.. which means that you must leave your warm sleeping bag and walk in the dark to the creepy campground bathroom full of spiders! lol no fun! Anyways when we finally woke up in the morning we went for a walk and found a 'cool' old water pump..it WAS 'cool' until i got...


It was disgusting and didnt look like it would come out..and of course we didnt have any soap so we went and borrowed some from the little old couple camping next to us. We washed it in the river and it finally came out! We returned the soap and gave the nice old people two peaces of marie calendar's Rasleberry pie that we brought up with us..THANK YOU for the gift card Mom Gates..I LOVE YOU! SO after that craziness we cleaned up our camp site and went fishing some more! We saw some pretty places that we hadnt been to before and enjoyed the beautiful weather..and water :0)

We caught some fish and had fun spending time together on our camping trip! :0)

Moms Visit

SO last week my mom came to visit us for a few days on her way back home from Oregon. It was so nice having her here and we did some fun stuff as we attempted to entertain her and convince her to MOVE here :0) jk We drove up to Lassen and saw the pretty mountains..

We had a picnic by the river and..of course..had to go fishing ;0)

We had a good time hanging out and she tolerated sleeping in our living room on our not so comfy pull-out bed next to the Weasle..I LOVE YOU MOM! :0) Soon we will have a house with an extra bedroom that you can stay in ;0) Anyways we were glad to have her around for a few days! Congratulations Tanya and Billy :0)

Listen Up! My sister Tanya finally had her first baby! Its a Boy and his name is Cole Terry..isnt he CUTE?!! Im so excited for them and wish their new little family the best! Cole Terry was born at 3:40pm on October 11, 2007. He weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long...Happy Birthday Cole :0) Love youguys

Oregon Trip!

So Matt and i got the weekend off so that we could go visit my sister Tanya in Corvallis Oregon..she is over 9 months pregnant and is due to have her baby at any time so we were hoping to see the little guy before we had to go home..

When we got there we went for a walk in Tanyas neighborhood. Oregon is such a beautiful place!..On our walk we discovered that their neighbors owned three cute little pigs that i couldn't resist :0)

We walked along a damp trail next to the river and enjoyed catching up with eachother.

Matt found a snake and picked it up! It was pretty cool :0)

It rains alot in Oregon but luckily the weather was gorgeous while we were there! We went back to tanyas place and relaxed a little after our walk. Then we went into town and ran some errands..and went to ROSS of course :0) That night we went to dinner and sat in the hot tub when we got home..it was soo nice..we saw some deer walking around in their yard while we were tubbin' it up..pretty cool :0) The next day Matt and i decided to go explore the Oregon coast..i took lots of pictures and you can check them out on the post before this one :0) When we got back later that day there was STILL no baby!

Oh well we ate dinner, Tanya schooled us all in yahtzee and we watched a movie.

The next morning Matt and I were woke up by lots of loud crows in the yard..Billy said that i could use his pellet gun whenever i want so i decided to go hunting :0) jk I shot at them and made them shut up but they were too far away to hit..oh well! Later Billy let us ride Tanya's 4wheeler and we had some fun with that! Oh and this is Tanya's cute little dog Roxy a.k.a. Rozley :0)

She followed me everywhere i went the WHOLE time we were there! It was pretty funny :0)

SO it was time for Matt and i to go back home and unfortunately we didn't get to meet little Cole Terry because he didn't want to come out while we were there SO i will have to meet my little nephew some other time :0) We said our goodbyes and hit the road..This time we didn't drive through Oregon in the DARK so we got to SEE everything :0) It was gorgeous of course and it only took us 8 hours to get home :0) All in all it was a fun trip and although we didn't see the baby..seeing my family was well worth it to me :0)

The Aquarium

While we were in Oregon visiting Tanya and Billy, we drove to the Oregon Coast to do a little exploring! It was pretty cold and rainy but beautiful none the less :0)

We ate lunch at this cute little sea food place overlooking the bay and watched the sea lions.

After we ate, we decided to check out the Newport Beach Aquarium..We both love stuff like that so we had a good time :0)

We saw lots of cool things..i liked taking pictures of the jelly fish..



We also got to see some pretty BIG sharks! They were scaaary :0)


The Otters were SO cute! They came right up to us and i got a good pic of one :0)

They also let us touch stuff!..my favorite ;0)

All in all it was alot of fun and i got to spend some quality time with my best friend..isnt he CUTE!? ;0)
