Whats in a name?

So today i made this necklace...i think you can guess the name that i we've picked ;0)

Its been difficult for me us to choose a name..because there are so many and names are kind of a big deal...they stick with you for-ev-er! So ive been looking for a name that wasnt very common but also wasnt weird (youd be amazed at the crazy stuff you see in baby name books/sites! Like 'Who in their right mind would name their kid ....................?!?') Anywho i think we have found a winner ;0) We havent decided on a middle name yet but we still have a few months to figure it out! SO, ive been in and out of the hospital lately..my pregnancy has been cake up til' a few days ago...contractions...very painful contractions. I didnt think it was normal to have those (at 23 weeks) so i went to the docs, they did some tests and put me on bedrest until they figure out whats wrong (which hopefully they will soon (im supposed to work on monday!) So im going to be 'taking it easy' this weekend. Has anyone else experienced gut-wrenching contractions/cramps in their 5th month of pregnancy?? Any advice is welcome ;0)

  2. i love that necklace! it is sooo cute! how did you make it? i have been wanting to make those! i love the name too, i dont have any boy names that i like, and dustin likes too. so, hopefully i dont ever have a boy, cause he would be nameless! and keep us updated on the bedrest. my sister in law had to go on bedrest with both of hers at 5 months, and her dr. gave her some meds to stop the contractions or something. so maybe you will get some of that? hopefully, cause little baby easton needs to stay put! ps, when are you due again?

  8. I had some pretty painful contractions starting around 30 weeks with my second pregnancy. They were just like real labor contractions - the type that wrap clear around to your lower back. People say that Braxton Hicks shouldn't hurt, but they do for me. I think it had to do with the fact that my son dropped really early - around 28 weeks. I was never sent to the hospital for the contractions, but I was told to take it easy. It never completely stopped them, but they did become a little less frequent and my son ended up being full term. I'm starting to get them again this time around, but I'm not too concerned yet as I've been through it before. I hope things turn out well for you and that the contractions ease up soon. In the mean time, you'll be in my prayers!
